About Malawi
Travelling to Lilongwe is a relatively easy journey, although it does involve 2 taxis and a mini bus, at approx cost of $20, the trip should take between 3 - 4 hours as it's only 150km.
It takes approx another 3 hours to reach the closest point of lake Malawi.
